Jalil serves as Manager of Media Relations at Cedar Hill, where he leads multicultural messaging strategy and media engagement for clients operating on a national and global stage. With more than two decades of communications experience, Jalil ensures Cedar Hill clients are prepared to deliver with impact in any media environment.

A native Spanish speaker born in the U.S., Jalil has built a reputation as a trusted communicator. He has been quoted by a number of major press outlets around the world such as MSNBC, The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Telemundo, and Agence France-Presse (AFP), and has conducted media training for executives, diplomats, and public figures, helping them navigate the subtle nuances of effective storytelling across cultures. Whether translating complex technical information into public-friendly language or relaying life-saving updates during disasters, Jalil ensures every message lands with clarity and purpose.

His communications career spans work as a broadcast journalist for NBC and Univision, an organizational spokesperson, and a frontline media responder during major crises. He has also worked closely with foreign dignitaries and global institutions to support high-level collaborations and international initiatives.

Jalil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Comparative Politics from the University of Florida, and a Master’s degree in International Studies from North Carolina State University. A Miami native based in the D.C. area, he’s also a seasoned traveler, mountaineer, diver, and lifelong global citizen who feels just as at home above the clouds or beneath the sea as he does behind a microphone.
